MOLISE RELIEF FUND November 2-December 3, 2002 for the schoolchildren from Francesco Jovine School, in the town of San Giuliano di Puglia, in the province of Campobasso (Molise region). The village was founded in the 10th century around a Benedictine Abby. It's approximate 1,500 residents are camped in a make-shift village of tents on a nearby sports field.
Students of Italian are writing letters of support to school children, their families and community members. Anyone is welcome to join in this effort. Letters in English are also very much appreciated!
Will you help us by making a contribution to the MOLISE RELIEF FUND? Every donation is deeply appreciated.
Please make checks payable to: CCRI Italian Club/Molise Relief Fund.

Mille grazie per la vostra generosità!

St. Francis Food Drive
November 19 -December 9, 2002

For several years the Community College of Rhode Island has been very generous in helping our neighbors who are in need of food. This year the Italian Club will sponsor a food-drive during the period between November 19th-December 9th, for the
St. Francis Food Center. Some suggestions may include: cereals, canned fruits, vegetables, tuna, beans, corn, types of pastas, baby food, coffee, tea, tomato sauces, etc.
We would like our neighbors and friends to enjoy the bounty of the season. Share the joy of the Holidays by bringing a non-perishable food item to the Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures Room 3210  (Knight Campus).
