About the Club
Mission Statement:
The
Community College of Rhode Island Italian Club is an organization
whose purpose is:
To preserve, develop and promote an
awareness and appreciation for the Italian language and culture.
To enhance our academic programs by serving our students within our
communities guided by a commitment to offer educational opportunities emphasizing
self discovery, teamwork, and global awareness.
To share a common interest in foreign languages and cultures by
exchanging cultural experiences with students from other
institutions in the United States and abroad.
What:
A meeting of students, adult learners, families and friends
interested in the Italian language and culture.
When:
Meet students and instructors "Conversiamo in italiano a pranzo"
every Wednesday 12:00 Noon.
